Photo stream not updating
Have you done the free Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1 upgrade, then noticed your i Cloud Control Panel has stopped updating your Photo Stream?
Even on the latest Apple i Cloud Control Panel 3.1, the issue doesn't just go away.
And you can view any of those on Apple TV once you set it up with i Cloud!
Unlike Apple's other devices, your Apple TV can't download images from the web or Messages to add to your Photos library — it relies solely on i Cloud's photo sharing options to present your images.
More specifically, photos are uploaded to a server at Apple via the Internet and then downloaded to your other devices from this server."Shared Photo Stream" is a feature Apple introduced after My Photo Stream.
Over 20,000 views later, and turns out Alex himself wound up fixing his own problem, kindly posting the procedure he developed on Nov 05 2013.As such, you'll need to log in to i Cloud on your i Phone, i Pad, Mac, or PC to make that happen, then turn on one of i Cloud's photo sharing options. You have a few different choices when it comes to viewing images on your Apple TV: When you turn on i Cloud Photo Library, every image and video you've stored will be available on your TV.I've also created a video of me doing the above steps that should be helpful for you if you're struggling to implement his fix, seen below.
There are a lot of reasons that i Cloud could break. But it does seem to work for a lot of people, including 2 laptops in my own family. After a few years of being an imperfect solution, Apple introduced i Cloud Photo Library.
